D. van de Wetering BV has been serving the shipping industry for more than 125 years with high-quality ship repair services in the port of Rotterdam.
With facilities like a lay by berth, a shore crane, working boats, a wellequipped workshop and of course highly motivated personnel, D. van de Wetering BV is able to offer around the clock service, 7 days a week. D. van de Wetering BV specialises in afloat repairs, often during the vessels stay in port. However, our riding squads can sail with the vessel to the next port in case the job is more extensive. Repair jobs on cranes, crane jibs, winches, windlasses, hull (and other steel work), piping, engines, rotating equipment, gangways, gearboxes, etc. are part of our daily business.
But more specialised work, like GRE retrofitting, engineering work, alignments and many other such jobs are certainly also part of our scope. Besides our Port Repair facilities (WPR), D. van de Wetering BV is also active as a representative for several O.E.M’s. For those companies, we can offer spare parts as well as service work. Leading manufacturers like Ameron Bondstrand (GRE Pipe Systems), Daihatsu Diesel, Hanshin Diesel, Pusnes andTsuji Heavy Industries are, amongst others, part of our portfolio.
